Art in ATL

atl-airportWalking beneath the shade of trees and hearing the sound of birds inside an airport? Of course!

This is one of many interesting sights that welcome visitors at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. You will immediately appreciate the city for loving arts as it displays different pieces from a history picture walkthrough to rock sculptures. And yes, they are right inside the airport! There are trains running between the concourses but walking to the baggage claim area was all worth it as you get a free tour to this amazing art. This particular installation gives the feeling of being in a forest with TV screens showing flying birds with chirping sounds and projectors projecting ripples of water on the floor with sound of a waterfall. Really a good reason to stay longer or come earlier to this airport!
